HOW TO
CARE FOR YOUR JEWELRY
Our jewelry is made to withstand the test of time. However, special care is recommended. Here are our tips to ensure maximum longevity.
When in doubt, take it off
Wearing a your jewelry daily may unintentionally cause harm it. Factors like cleaning, swimming, exercising, or grooming can impact your jewelry's durability. Storing them safely is crucial to shield them from chemical exposure and debris accumulation.
Storing your Jewelry
Ensure all jewelry is clean and dry before storage. Moisture can lead to tarnishing and degradation. Use a fabric-lined case with compartments to prevent scratching and tangling. For sterling silver, use an anti-tarnish bag or cloth to minimize exposure to air and moisture.
Avoid damaging chemicals
Hairspray, lotion, and perfume can be damaging to certain types of metals and colored gems. Precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum are especially susceptible to discoloration from these everyday care products.
Cleaning like a Pro
Give solid gold bracelets, chains and earrings a gentle bath in a solution of a few drops of dish soap and a little warm water. Put small jewelry pieces into a strainer before placing in the solution; large pieces can go directly into the bowl to soak for about five minutes to dislodge dirt. Swish the items around, then take them out, lay them on a soft cloth and go over the crevices and chain links with a soft toothbrush to remove any debris. Return small pieces to the strainer and rinse everything under running water then dry with a soft cloth.
